Please note that Oriel Lighting (Australia) Pty Ltd do not sell directly to the public. Our range of light fittings and associated products is available through most lighting retailers and electrical wholesalers throughout Australia. For details of your nearest distributor, please contact our internal sales team.

This site is intended to offer up to date product information to our distributors, specifiers and end customers. In time it will have the functionality for account customers to log on and check pricing, availability and place orders on the warehouse.

Availability, specifications & assembly
From time to time, some items may be unavailable or out of stock. While we aim to ensure that information on this website is correct, sometimes errors do occur for which we apologise. It may be necessary to make changes to product specifications. We reserve the right to make these changes at any time and without notice. Some items may require self assembly. Damage incurred during assembly is not covered under warranty.

Images, colours & design
While every endeavour is made to accurately represent the true colour or finish of the item, we obviously cannot guarantee that the image you see on your computer screen or print out, is exactly how the item will appear in reality. If a precise colour match is critical, we recommend the purchase of a sample item. We accept no responsibility should such inspection not be undertaken.

All orders will be dispatched from our Brisbane warehouse within two business days from receipt of order where the customer account is in order. Delivery times vary. Should express delivery be required please advise our internal sales team – and we will assist where possible.

Warranty / Guarantee
Our lighting and associated products have a 12-month warranty from date of purchase when used for domestic purposes. The warranty/guarantee commences on the date the goods are invoiced by Oriel Lighting. This warranty does not cover light bulbs included with light fittings, and applies only when the fitting is used for its intended purpose. This warranty is for our products used only within Australia. If a fitting requires installation, the warranty only applies if it is installed by a licensed electrical contractor. This warranty does not cover installation or removal costs or any transport costs associated with returning product.

Australian web site
This web site may be accessed in Australia and throughout the world. Oriel Lighting (Australia) Pty Ltd makes no offer in or by this web site to sell any product or service in any country outside Australia and no representations that the content of this web site complies with the laws of any country outside Australia.

Sales – as a registered user – DROPSHIPPING
Oriel Lighting specific terms and conditions for registered users.

Registered User registration is restricted to lighting retailers, electrical wholesalers, homewares and associated retailers.

Order Value
As a registered user, utilising drop shipping there are no minimum order values.

Stock Levels
Stock availability is an indicator only.

Registered User
Only registered users are given access to the User Portal.

Acceptance of Orders
Oriel Lighting reserve the right to reject an order under some circumstances. For example, should suitable stock not be available or the delivery arrangements be unworkable for our logistics partners. Should an order not be accepted for processing a full refund will be given.

All orders dispatched using the Customer Portal are freight on. Freight is charged as part of the transaction.

We use a third party for logistics support and freight rates are calculated to the “deliver to” address and charged through the Portal.

Freight charges and conditions are subject to change.

The Oriel fulfilment team priority process PORTAL orders. We cannot guarantee a specific number of days to delivery or a specific delivery time. Our logistics partners typically deliver in business hours Monday to Friday.

Additional freight charges may apply is delivery cannot be made to the address nominated, if re-delivery is required (no-one home) or is re-direction is required.

Authority to Leave (ATL) – we encourage indicating ATL, it reduces the likelihood of extra fees and charges. However care should be taken to ensure that there is a suitable, safe & protected place for delivery and that there are no impediments to delivery (like a locked gate or a big dog). Additional fees and charges may apply for futile deliveries.


Faulty/damaged goods: contact sales@oriel-lighting.com.au with invoice number, invoice date, full product details indicating the fault.

Many of our products require installation by a qualified electrical contractor, under no circumstances should those items be installed by an unqualified person. No claim will be recognised in this circumstance.

Change of Mind: Oriel Lighting do not offer a “change of mind” return option, however a return of goods supplied in original packaging and in a re-saleable condition to Oriel Lighting can be arranged with (1) a restocking fee and (2) all freight paid. To request a GRA (goods return authority) contact sales@oriel-lighting.com.au.

Oriel Lighting do not supply outside Australia: Goods on-shipped outside Australia by an Oriel customer are not covered by any guarantee or warrantee once shipped. Any claims for fault/breakage must be made immediately upon receipt by the Australian customer and will not be recognised once the goods have left Australia.

On-Forwarding: Goods re-shipped to another address are not covered for breakage.

Re-Packaging: Goods re-packaged are not covered for breakage.

All claims must be lodged within 7 days of invoice date.

Authorisation must be received from Oriel Lighting prior to the return of any goods. Accompanying documentation must quote the GRA (goods return authorisation) number, invoice number, invoice date, full product details, quantity claimed and reason for return.

Payment Terms for Registered Users – Using the Portal
All orders are paid when placed when using the Portal. Payment can be made using selected credit cards or PAYPAL.

Acceptance of Terms
The placement of any order to be supplied by Oriel Lighting will be considered as confirmation of acceptance of these trading terms.
